Forever is Your Throne lyrics

Verse 1

Maya:

Before the morning stars sang, Before the dawn was born, You laid the earth's foundation And girded the deep with morn

Vashaun: No night can hide from You, Lord, No depth Your height has found;

Duet: You were, and You are, And You are the same Your glory is unbound

Chorus

Forever is Your throne, And Your name is on high; Your works are eternal, Your wonders never die What You have spoken stands, And it stands over me

Lord Jesus, God of the ages, Forever and ever Amen

Verse 2

Vashaun: The grasses wither and fade, The flower forgets its bloom, The pride of men dissolves like mist, But You outlast the tomb

All

You rise, And the darkness breaks, You live, And the grave is plain;

Maya: And we, who were dead, are alive in You

All: So we lift up Your name

Chorus

Forever is Your throne, And Your name is on high; Your works are eternal, Your wonders never die What You have spoken stands, And it stands over me Lord Jesus, God of the ages, Forever and ever Amen

Bridge

All: You said: "Lift up your heads, O, you gates Be lifted up, you ancient doors

And the King of glory shall enter in"

Vashaun: The Lord, strong and mighty,

Maya: The Lord, mighty in battle,

Vashaun: The King of glory,

Maya: The Lord of hosts

All: Forever is Your throne

Chorus

Forever is Your throne,

And Your name is on high; Your works are eternal, Your wonders never die What You have spoken stands, And it stands over me Lord Jesus, God of the ages, Forever and ever Amen

Coda

All: Amen Forever

Solo: Is Your throne

All: Uuuh
